Chapter 01 · The spark
I started with hope and creativity, family coming to support and help me make imaginary creations into real-life outfits for my dolls. I watched YouTube videos on how to make doll outfits and tried them out.

Chapter 02 · The experiments
I kept exploring — clothes out of size, socks, staplers, rubber bands, anything that would make a cute little fit. Then the idea came up: how about I film and share with others too?

Chapter 03 · The world
That little doll-room corner turned into a YouTube channel, then a community, then a colourful brand. Today Kuku & Dolls is a whole world of cute drops, fun adventures and the friends who love all the same little things I do.

The journey

How Kuku grew up 🌱

Step 1 · Age 6
Rubber-band fashion
Cut up old fabric, wrapped rubber bands into belts, and sewed tiny outfits for every doll on the shelf.
Step 2 · Age 7
First YouTube video
Filmed a doll closet tour on mum's phone. 32 views, 5 of them grandma — but Kuku was hooked.
Step 3 · Few months later
Joined swim club
Started swimming in competitions around Toronto, making friends and touring new places.
Step 4 · Now
Kuku & Dolls universe
Building a playful brand of gloss, plushies, mystery boxes and fits — with a community that gets it.

I am Ekundayo's mum. Kuku doesn't watch screens on weekdays and has only a few hours on weekends. She also doesn't create content weekly — we try to plan time outdoors so she gets fresh air and interacts with others.

So we don't endorse heavy screen times because we want more views or likes. We hope you get ideas to do something creative, fun, safe and informative.
